Do you take insurance?Dickstein Physical Therapy is out-of-network with most commercial insurance carriers. Patients are expected to pay for each session at the time of service. After each session, the patient will be provided with a statement which will include all relevant charges, diagnostic codes and pertinent case information. The patient may then be able to seek reimbursement from their insurance company.

Is there parking nearby?Our building is adjacent to a Montgomery County Garage with plenty of metered parking. The parking rate is $1.50 per hour.

Do I need a prescription?It is always preferable to collaborate with your physician and other healthcare professionals; therefore, we encourage you to obtain a prescription from your physician. If Medicare is your primary insurance, a prescription is required.

What are the hours of operation?7:30AM- 4:00 pm Monday-Friday

Will I see the same therapist for each visit?You will be seen by the same therapist throughout the course of your treatment.

How long are the sessions?The initial evaluation is scheduled for one hour. Individual treatment sessions are scheduled for 40 minutes. It may be possible to schedule a longer session if deemed appropriate by your physical therapist.

Will the therapist be working with me the entire treatment time or will I work with an aide?Your physical therapy treatments will be completely 1:1 patient-to-therapist. We do not use non-professional staff to assist with any therapeutic intervention.
